Stabilized polyethylene film is UV radiation resistant film. Usually it is blue color in order to distinguish it from the ordinary (non-stabilized) films.

This film can be used outdoors, in the open air – the rays of the sun does not destroy it for a few seasons.

It can be used for greenhouses, construction – vapor isolation, water isolation, window covering, long-term covering in the open air – the wood covering, covering of the objects under construction, and the like.

AGROLUX® is a special polyethylene film specially designed for covering greenhouses. AGROLUX® product is unique because the film contains not only the ultraviolet (UV) stabilizers, but also infrared (IR) and anti-condensation stabilizer.

In order to serve longer and have special properties there are various additives added to the film:

• UV stabilizers.

These additives slow down photo and thermochemical aging, making the film elastic and resistant to cold longer. Thanks to them, the film under the influence of ultraviolet rays, does not decay so fast.

• Antifog.

This additive changes the surface tension so the drops of water do not fall down on the plants, but slowly slide through the surface of the film.

The drawback of simple polyethylene film is the formation of moisture drops on the inner side.

• Infrared ray absorbents.

They help to keep the inside temperature 2-3 degrees higher comparing to the usual polyethylene film.
